Profesor titular del Departamento de Ingeniería de Transporte y Logística de la Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile y Director del Instituto para el Desarrollo Sustentable.

 

Ingeniero Civil de la Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile y Magister en Ingeniería Industrial e Investigación Operativa y Doctor en Ingeniería Civil y Ambiental de la Universidad de California (Berkeley).

 

ÁREAS DE INVESTIGACIÓN 

Sus áreas de investigación son el transporte público, las redes de transporte, el tráfico, la logística y la influencia del transporte en la planificación urbana. Ha asesorado al Ministro de Transportes y Telecomunicaciones de Chile en temas asociados al diseño y regulación del transporte público, y ha integrado los directorios de Metro de Santiago y Metro de Valparaíso.

 

Es parte de los Comités Científicos Internacionales de CASPT (Conference on Advanced Systems of Public Transport), ISTTT (International Symposium on Transportation and Traffic Theory) y Thredbo (International Conference on Competition and Ownership in Land Passenger Transport).
