CENTRE FOR SUSTAINABLE URBAN DEVELOPMENT

CEDEUS is a research centre of excellence that is funded by the National Research and Development Agency (ANID), through its FONDAP programme. This research project was created jointly through the association between Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile and Universidad de Concepción in January 2013.

Its overall goal is to understand urban dynamics, instruments and decision-making processes for developing sustained and equitable improvements in quality of life outcomes, through the recognition of biophysical boundaries and social demands in Chilean cities.

SUSTAINABLE URBAN DEVELOPMENT

CEDEUS understands SUD as a process whereby communities flourish harmoniously in both present and future generations.
