Professor at the Department of Civil Engineering of Universidad de Concepción.

 

He is an industrial civil engineer and holds a master’s degree in Engineering Sciences from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. He received his PhD in Transportation Engineering and Planning from University of Toronto.

 

RESEARCH AREAS

 

His research focuses on transport planning and engineering, the development of transport behaviour and demand models, and the study of the social context of transport demand. He also addresses public transport policies and transport-related land use.
