Professor at the Department of Chemical Engineering and Bioprocesses of the Faculty of Engineering of Pontificia Universidad Católica.
He is a civil engineer and holds a master’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Universidad de Chile. He received his PhD in Chemical Engineering from University of Minnesota Twin Cities.
RESEARCH AREAS
His research topic is air quality, specifically: the design of decontamination plans in urban areas; the determination of the main sources of pollution in specific areas; the modelling of meteorology and air quality at different scales (local, urban, regional); and the measurement of indoor pollution in housing.
