Professor at the Institute of Geography of the Faculty of History, Geography and Political Science of Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. He is a researcher at the Global Change Centre (PUC), Local Development Centre (PUC) and a member of the Environmental Advisory Group (GAMAPUC).

 

He is a geographer from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile and holds a PhD in Environmental Sciences from the EULA-Chile Centre of Universidad de Concepción.

 

RESEARCH AREAS

His main research interests are urban sustainability, medium-sized cities and spatial analysis of land use change using geomatics techniques.
