Associate Professor in the Department of Geography, Faculty of Architecture, Urbanism, and Geography, University of Concepción. Director of the Urban Laboratory at the University of Concepción and the ANID Conocimientos 2030 program, both at the same institution.

 

Social Worker from the Alberto Hurtado University. Master’s in Residential Habitat from the University of Chile and Ph.D. in Urban Studies, Planning, and Urbanism from the University of Paris VIII.

 

RESEARCH AREAS

 

Her research aims to analyze how urban-housing policies are governed. She has focused on studying the arrangements, processes, and tensions of the actors involved in these policies. She also investigates their repercussions on territories and the daily lives of residents. Currently, she is leading a study on social and urban integration policies in Greater Concepción.

 

She is the Principal Investigator of FONDECYT Project No. 11240564 “Gobernar la crisis de la vivienda en Chile: transformaciones y continuidades del modelo subsidiario” (2024–2027).
